This time around, we stumbled on at the wrong time and during difficult situations. Hope that the players get themselves together and not start thinking about the World Cup in Brazil (or vacations) already.
Arsenal v Manchester City: Premier League Preview
Let the good times come back!
Arsenal. . . Well, there’s nothing much to say about the current situation. It is like you are being woken up after watching a good dream and there’s a soul sucking demon sitting on your chest.
There was a banner displayed by some Liverpool fans in some recent fixture, “Make us dream, Brendan.” I wish I could say, “Make us dream, Arsene.”
Manchester City has now consolidated their position to be direct title challengers to Chelsea. Relatively stable side apart from the Sergio Aguero situation.
Their midweek fixture against Manchester United was like a cake walk, but you may never guess when things fall apart.
Past Meetings:
Manchester City fixtures have been humbling for Arsenal since the past few seasons. This season at the Etihad, Arsenal were undone by some fatigue in earlier matches and dubious offside decisions.
Expecting this to be a drab encounter with Arsenal with their defensive bus back on the Emirates pitch; should be a draw.

Stats! Stats! Stats!
In the last five meetings (all competitions), there have been just four goals scored. Played safe.
This season, Manchester City has been able to keep five consecutive clean sheets in the top flight; their first since 1915.
With the current abuse that Oliver Giroud is getting, it is worth noting that he has scored five goals in his last three matches at the Emirates.
Yaya Toure has been massive this season for Manchester City, scoring 12 goals from just 15 games, a very healthy return for a central midfielder.
