NO EBOLA IN RIVERS STATE
No need to panic there's no ebola case in Rivers State Nigeria. There is a political "daboo" somewhere along the line.
Newspaper houses went to the supposedly Emuoha Isolation center and found no 200 persons there.

Fuse ODG ft. Angel – T. I. N. A
Fresh from his top 3 charting summer smash ‘Dangerous Love’ (featuring Sean Paul), Fuse ODG returns with another sure-fire hit ‘T.I.N.A’ featuring UK R&B singer/songwriter Angel, released through 3Beat Records on October 5th.
‘T.I.N.A’ is the fifth single and title track to be taken from Fuse’s highly anticipated debut solo album ‘T.I.N.A’ which is due to drop on October 12th. Produced by the award-winning Ghanaian producer Killbeatz, ‘T.I.N.A’ is another slice of afro-pop brilliance, set to sit comfortably on radio airwaves and club dance floors. An acronym for This Is New Africa, the title of the song drives home its lyrical content, namely a celebration of Fuse’s love for his motherland, the Africa of Now.
With four chart hits in as many singles to his name, the past 12 months has seen Fuse ODG not only cement his standing as a trailblazer for Afrobeats, but also fast become a mainstream star. The Ghanaian South Londoner has sold over a million plus records and achieved silver status on three singles – ‘Antenna’, ‘Million Pound Girl’ and ‘Dangerous Love’, which spent 10 consecutive weeks in the UK top 20. All in addition to a sold out headline show at The Garage in Islington, an MTV VMA nomination and a MOBO award win for Best African Act.

Maupe Ogun Of Channels TV: What Is Happening To Her?
This lady has proved beyond the reasonable doubt as
one of the best in the profession of journalism. In the past as a lover
of channels TV I admired her so much because of her intelligence.
But these days she is losing form. She looks bothered on set. Sometimes she keep mute too long during interview unlike Maupe who I used to know. In the past due to her level of maturity in journalism, she has anchored presidential chats in the past.

Nigerians Among Races That Excel In America - Travel
Writer Amy Chau, who gained notoriety 2 years ago as
'Tiger Mum' after publishing her controversial book 'Battle Hymn of the
Tiger Mother" where she claimed that Chinese mums make the best parents
and ultimately have more successful children, is back in the news.
Chau and her husband, Jed Rubenfeld, just released a controversial (and some say racist) parenting guide called 'The Triple Package', where they declared there to be only eight successful and superior groups of people in the US.
They eight are: Chinese, Jewish, Indian, Iranian, Lebanese-Americans, Nigerians, Cuban exiles and Mormons
'That certain groups do much better in America than others, as measured by income, occupational status, test scores and so on, is difficult to talk about,' Amy and Jed write.
The couple identify three distinguishing features these eight peoples have that guarantees them success over others; superiority, insecurity and impulse control.
Amy Chau, 51, breaks down the 'Triple Package' for her readers as follows:
1) A superiority complex: Chau believes that any cultural group who innately thinks they are just better than others has an advantage.
Ignoring the wars, genocide and abject human misery this kind of thinking has caused, Chau and her husband declare that 'the superiority complex is antithetical to mainstream liberal thinking...the stuff of racism , colonialism, imperialism, Nazism.'
2) Insecurity: Chau and her husband believe that a deep seated insecurity can be a motivating drive to achieving success.
'That insecurity should be a critical lever of success is another anathema, flouting the entire orthodoxy of contemporary popular and therapeutic psychology,' they write according to the New York Post.
'Note that there’s a deep tension between insecurity and a superiority complex,' the authors continue.
'It’s odd to think of people being simultaneously insecure but also convinced of their divine election or superiority.'
3) Impulse Control: Chau thinks that perseverance and patience are virtues that have been lost to most Americans - but still exist among her eight golden cultural groups.
'Impulse control refers to the ability to resist temptation, especially the temptation to give up in the face of hardship or quit instead of persevering at a difficult task.'

20 Kidnapped Women: Boko Haram Demands 40 Cows Per Hostage
Boko Haram terrorists are reportedly asking for 40 cows as a precondition for the release of each of the 20 abducted Fulani women, whom they had held in captivity for about a week now, husbands of the abducted women and security sources have said. The insurgents who picked up the women in Garkin Fulani, a nomadic settlement near Chibok town last week Thursday are now reaching out to the husbands of the kidnapped women with what could be described as ransom.A police official in Maiduguri who spoke to LEADERSHIP under strict condition of anonymity said many Fulani herdsmen had reported cases of abduction to them in various police Divisional headquarters and outposts around Damboa and Kaga local government areas of Borno State. The police source said, the husbands and fathers of the abducted women were not ready to part with even a single calf as ransom for the release of their wives and daughters.‘You know the Fulanis hold their herds more dearly, because without it they have no means of livelihood”, said the police Sergeant. “Most of them have come to report the incident at our offices but they are all saying such demands are not tenable”.The officer said they were presently handling a particular case at the police Divisional Outpost in Jakana town of Kaga local government, about 50km away from Maiduguri, where the Fulani man said he would rather stay without his wife than giving out what he does not even have.“This man in question has a son delivered to him by his abducted wife and presently the man and his son are at the police station in Jakana; he said he was asked to provide 40 cows as ransom for the release of his abducted wife, but the man said he has his son with him; and that if God wills that his wife would return to him, he doesn’t need to part with his means of livelihood to secure her back”.The Fulani man’s concern was that “what if he gave out the cows, which are not even up to 40 and then his wife was not released; it means he would lose in both ways. So he would rather keep his herds and his son and pray that his wife returns safely home one day”.There are a lot of concerns being expressed around Borno State as to the increasing impunity of the Boko Haram, whose activities were gradually becoming unchecked.Borno State police command has hitherto not been able to officially issue any statement in respect of the abducted Fulani women, even though the police public relations officer of the state police command had on Monday promised to get back to journalists once he could confirm the veracity of the abduction itself.Garkin Fulani is situated not very far from Chibok town, where the 219 schoolgirls still in the captivity of the Boko Haram were picked alongside 57 others that had escaped back on the 14th of April this year.

2FACE IDIBIA FT. BRIDGET KELLY – LET SOMEBODY LOVE YOU (PROD. BY FEMDOUBLE)
Nigeria’s finest and arguably the number one artiste in African urban contemporary music, 2Face Idibia, is set to drop the first single off his sixth studio album ‘The Ascension’.
The single ‘Let Somebody Love You’ was recorded and produced by 2Face’s producer Femi ‘Femdouble’ Ojetunde and features Roc Nation artiste, American singer Bridget Kelly.
According to the multiple-award winner, “the idea for the song comes from people who act like they can do without the love and support of other people. The truth, whether we accept it or not, is that everybody needs somebody.”
The duo performed the single for the first time at the Makurdi Rocks date of the Star Trek concert series to a wild and appreciative audience earlier this year.
“This song is all about giving room for more love”, 2Face says. “Like a diamond in the rough, we need to let our light shine through. The healthiest way to do that is by loving and being loved”, he adds, borrowing a line from the second verse of the single.
Without any doubt the most accomplished artiste of his generation, 2Face Idibia put out his first recording Body & Soul as a member of the trio Plantashun Boiz in 1999. Fifteen years later, having gone through more ups and downs to panic even a seasoned stockbroker, the artiste has emerged a newer, stronger brand winning several awards for all of his past releases.”

Nigerian Couple Won 50 Million Dollar Lottery In Canada - Gaming - Nairaland
Toronto Jun 03, 2014Last Updated at 08:25 AM ISTCouple recovers USD 50 million lottery ticketA Canadian couple endured a roller-coaster ride of emotions when a lottery ticket worth USD 50 million went missing only to be found and returned by someone at their church.Hakeem Nosiru won the January 17 Lotto Max draw and was one day away from claiming the money when the signed ticket, which he taped to the inside his wife's purse for safekeeping, was missing after they attended church. That sparked a frantic search of their home, with garbage bins being upended and their contents picked through, an effort that left Nosiru and his wife who are originally from Nigeria empty handed and feeling "miserable. But that despair turned to joy after a fellow member of the congregation discovered the ticket and reunited it with them on April 1 a return made possible because Nosiru signed the ticket with their address. But the saga wasn't over yet, as Nosiru gave the ticket to Ontario Provincial Police, who were investigating the matter for Ontario Lottery and Gaming to ensure there were no further snags.Everything checked out and Nosiru and his wife Abiola were beaming for the cameras at the OLG prize center yesterday, telling reporters they were planning on travelling the world and helping out their family.Abiola Nosiru said that when she realized her husband's winning ticket had disappeared from her purse "I had a fly in my stomach and I couldn't sleep for days. I couldn't eat. I was devastated.""We just wanted to see the reality. And the reality is right here now," she said, fighting back tears. She wasn't sure what they'll do for the woman who ended the ticket's exodus, but told her "I just want to say thank you.
I Caused Cristiano Ronaldo’s Knee Injury - Ghanaian Witch Doctor
Ghana’s most influential witch doctor has claimed he is responsible for the knee injury that is threatening to Cristiano Ronaldo’s participation at the World Cup.Nana Kwaku Bonsam – whose name translates literally as “Devil of Wednesday” – predicted in February that the Real Madrid forward would be forced to miss this summer’s tournament in Brazil with injury. A statement from the Portuguese FA on Wednesday confirmed that Ronaldo is suffering from tendinosis in his left knee as well as nursing a muscle problem in his left thigh, which caused him to miss the 0-0 draw with Greece at the weekend.Ghana are set to meet Portugal in their final match of Group G in Brasilia on 26 June and Bonsam claims to have conjured a special powder from his gods, mixed with several leaves and concoctions which have been placed around an image and caricature of the former Manchester United player.“I know what Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is about, I’m working on him,” Bonsam, who serves at the Kofioo Kofi shrine, said in an interview with the Kumasi-based Angel FM.“I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called Kahwiri Kapam.“I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World up or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.“This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is his thigh, next day it is something else.”

Jonathan’s Secret Negotiator: Chibok Girls Very Ill
Some of the 219 schoolgirls still in the custody of
Boko Haram insurgents have taken ill, according to a prominent
Australian cleric, Dr. Stephen Davis. Davis, a hostage negotiator, said
the online publication of a British newspaper, The Mail on Sunday, was
hired by President Goodluck Jonathan to broker the release of the girls.
According to the newspaper, the clergyman who was once the Canon Emeritus at the Coventry Cathedral in London and a friend of The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, has been in Nigeria working secretly on the release of the girls for almost a month now.
It added that he was asked by the President to come to Nigeria after previously brokering a truce between the Federal Government and Niger Delta militants in 2004. Along with Welby, he was frequently blindfolded and held at gunpoint during his peace work in the Niger Delta. In the email, Davis revealed he had had ‘‘ongoing contacts’’ with the groups involved in the kidnapping in the North-East for seven years. He attributed his success in hostage negotiations in Nigeria to “a long process of building trust on both sides.
” The Perth-born Australian described how fraught the negotiation process had been but expressed optimism that the girls would be freed.
He said, ‘One of that small group of girls is ill and we had hoped we might convince the commander of the group holding her that she should be released so we could give her medical treatment.
‘There are other girls who are not well and we have come close to having them released but their captors fear a trap in which they will be captured in the handover process.
‘One girl has what I assume is a broken wrist as they demonstrate to me how she holds her hand.
I have been told that others are sick and in need of medical attention. “But I am encouraged by the progress.
Every day there is the possibility of the release of the girls.
‘This is painful for the parents and the nation.
The well-being of the girls is constantly on our minds and we want to see their release as soon as possible.
” The secret negotiator however ruled out the possibility of a rescue since the girls were not being held in one location.
He said, “There are several groups to deal with as the girls are held in several camps across the Nigerian border in Cameroon, Chad and Niger. This makes any thought of a rescue highly improbable.
To attempt to rescue one group would only endanger the others.
We must not endanger their lives any further.
“The vast majority of the Chibok girls are not being held in Nigeria.
“I say the ‘vast majority’as I know a small group was confirmed to me to be in Nigeria last week when we sought to have them released.” Explaining that he had been to military positions in the North-East in recent days, he said, ‘the troops and their field commanders are doing all that can be done at this point.
” Last week, the Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, said the military knew the location of the girls and claimed that security agencies had been ‘following them’ since the abduction. Badeh did not divulge details, saying doing so would put the girls in further danger.
Sources said Badeh’s claim might have been
the result of government officials seeing a new, unpublished video allegedly sent by the sect to President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Sunday Mail also quoted a military source on Sunday as saying that with most of the girls outside the shores of Nigeria, ‘any sort of attempt to get to them would have to be cleared by the governments of the other nations.
’ The source added, ‘This has been a race against time from the minute they were captured.
As soon as the girls left Nigerian soil it was always going to be more difficult.
‘The government made no attempt at a rescue until a month after they were taken.
Now the situation gets more serious by the day.
” The Mail on Sunday also claimed that the new recorded video by Boko Haram showed the girls bravely speaking out about their ordeal for the first time.
The footage, not released publicly but seen by the newspaper, was taken in a jungle clearing a month after the girls were abducted on April 14.
It also confirmed David’s claim that a few of the girls were ill.
In the video, eight girls, dressed in their school uniforms of pale blue gingham, plead for release as they stand in front of a camera. The newspaper said they were clearly scared, upset and trying to be brave as they walked in turn to a spot in front of a white sheet fixed to a frame between trees. According to the publication, four of
the girls could be heard in Hausa Language, stating that they were taken by force and that they were hungry. One of them aged about 18 said tearfully, “My family will be so worried.” Another, speaking softly, said, “I never expected to suffer like this in my life.’ A third said, ‘They have taken us away by force” and the fourth complained that, “We
are not getting enough food.” The video, allegedly taken by an intermediary on May 19, said the newspaper,
was intended to serve as ‘proof of life’ for the girls and to Jonathan to accede to the terrorists’ demands. Two earlier videos showed the girls seated on the ground, dressed in hijabs, reciting the Koran. In the videos, Boko Haram Leader,
Abubakar Shekau, declared he would sell the girls into slavery or marry them off to their kidnappers if members of the sect in detention were not released. Pressure from the international community and criticism of the Jonathan’s slow response to the kidnapping had led to a series of contradictory pronouncements from his government. Some ministers have declared that government would not negotiate with Boko Haram or consider the release of prisoners, while official spokesmen said “the window is always open for dialogue.”

Muslim Groups Condemn Conversion Of Abducted Girls To Islam
The Muslim Right Concern (MURIC) and Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria
(MSSN), Lagos State Area Council, have condemned the abduction and
forceful conversion of kidnapped girls into Islam by the Boko Haram
sect, stating that there was no compulsion in making people accept
Islam.
Director of MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola, in a statement on Tuesday, described the acts as baseless, urging the Federal Government not to accept releasing arrested terrorists in exchange for the girls as demanded by Shekau.
He said:
On its part, the MSSN in a statement by its President, Kaamil Kalejaiye, said it could not understand the ascription of killings of innocent people in the name of religious conviction.
Kalejaiye said:
It's good to see Muslim groups speaking up against these barbaric acts by Boko Haram. You know it's bad when even al Qaeda condemns the abduction of the girls.
Director of MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola, in a statement on Tuesday, described the acts as baseless, urging the Federal Government not to accept releasing arrested terrorists in exchange for the girls as demanded by Shekau.
He said:
We reject the purported conversion of the kidnapped girls. It is cowardly, shameful, ridiculous and preposterous. It is sacrilege. We affirm authoritatively that such conversion does not hold water in Islam because a non-Muslim can only be converted on his or her own free will. We have no iota of doubt that the girls ‘converted’ under duress. Such ‘conversion’ is null and void under the Shari’ah.
The so-called conversion is therefore baseless, unfounded and of no validity whatsoever. It exists only in the hallucinated imageries in Shekau’s demented mind.
We urge the Federal Government to dismiss Shekau’s offer of exchange of Boko Haram prisoners for the kidnapped girls. A man who orders the invasion and kidnap of innocent young girls is honour-blind. Shame on Boko Haram. Shekau has no modicum of integrity left in his anatomy. He has no intention of honouring this deal. He is trying to buy time. He is digging in.
On its part, the MSSN in a statement by its President, Kaamil Kalejaiye, said it could not understand the ascription of killings of innocent people in the name of religious conviction.
Kalejaiye said:
The spate of unjustified killings in our country is getting unbearable and Islam is always at the receiving end. We condemn these killings, abductions and all forms of attack on citizens. We unequivocally condemn its perpetrators. Islam is a religion of peace and does not in any way have a confluence with killing, bombing, kidnapping and forcing people of other faiths into its fold.
It's good to see Muslim groups speaking up against these barbaric acts by Boko Haram. You know it's bad when even al Qaeda condemns the abduction of the girls.

Chibok Girls Forcefully Converted To Islam In New Video
Boko Haram video emerged Monday purportedly showing some of the kidnapped Nigerian girls in headdresses and the terror group's leader declaring they have converted to Islam.
The 27-minute footage shows girls wearing Hijab headdresses and reciting the Quran as they make Islamic declarations of faith.
It was shot in a nondescript area of a bush.
Last month, a convoy of Islamist militants drove into a school in northeastern Nigeria, abducted nearly 300 girls and fled into the night. At least 276 girls remain missing since the terror group seized them on April 14.
World Economic Forum On Africa Attracts $68bn Investments, Says Organiser
He said the funds were in the form of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) as well as private and public investments across African countries which would continue to yield results in the next years. Rosler said the funds were targeted at investments in beautiful projects that would foster the agriculture sector, improve infrastructure such as roads, railways. hospitals, education, skill development and ICT.
”What this means is that it is not just money, but opportunities for Africa and the reason why we are here is to unlock the opportunities for the improvement in the states of Africa,” he said. He said that the event was one of the best his organisation had hosted in the recent years.
Rosler said that the forum had achieved the missions of his organisation ‘’which is commitment to the growth of the world in three steps”. The steps, according to him, are “to create community of interest, to create community of purpose and lastly to have community of exchange. The WEF(A), Abuja, has been able to achieve these. For instance, in creating the community of interest, the articles about the last three days is more that 48,000 articles which is three times more than the last year.
“Millions of people have now realised that Africa is important in global economy.
“Secondly, we created the community of purpose, we have more than 1000 participants here in the last three days and they were here not withstanding all the reports about security. They were here because of all the discussions and they send their voices of solidarity with the people of Nigeria.
“They come up with a common voice that they will never allow the terrorists and violence dictate our agenda and the peoples agenda for the continent.”
Speaking in same vein, Elzie Kanza, the Director and Head of Africa WEF, said since May 2, there were about 50,000 social media items that mentioned WEF (A), Abuja.
She said the coverage had a total reach of over 2.1 billion, which is about 30 per cent of world population.
On twitter, she said the numbers of followers increase by over 1200 people per day and the digital reach increased to about 4.1 million people.
Kanza said that on facebook, the clips on launch of the “Save-School Initiative” press conference was watched 1200 times.
In terms of practical results, she said that the “Safe School Initiative”, an aftermath of the abduction of over 200 schoolgirls in Chibok, was outstanding.
The ‘Safe School Initiative Fund’ was created by the UN Special Envoy for Global Education, Gordon Brown, following the abduction and it is to develop and enhanced education in the terrorism-ravaged areas of Nigeria.
The fund had attracted 10 billion dollars each from the initiator and the Federal Government, respectively. Kanza said that the Chinese government had planned to invest 42 billion dollars in Africa, 10 billion dollars in investment financing, 30 billion dollars in extending credit lines and 2 billion dollars into China-Africa investment fund.
In the business sector, she said the Dangote group would be investing about 16 billion dollars in Nigeria over the next four years, adding that it would also create 180,000 jobs.
According Kanza, another company is investing one billion dollars across Africa in the next 10 years while 20,00 jobs will be created created through the Digital Africa initiative. In the power sector, she said that 2 billion dollars from donor agencies had been committed to improve electricity supply across Nigeria.
ON health, Kanza said that the immunisation drive got 700 million dollars through an MoU that was signed.
According to her, in the overall, there is strong commitment between the private and the public sector to collaborate regionally and globally in the fight against terror in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

Boko Haram, Mindless Bigots -buhari
Former military head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari, has described
members of the Boko Haram sect that has carried out several terrorists
attacks in the country, as mindless bigots, and not followers of God.
Buhari who is also a chief of the All Progressives Congress, made this
known in a statement released on Thursday. Buhari who expressed grave
concerns over the abduction of schoolgirls of the Government Secondary
School, Chibok, Borno State.
He said, “Over the past few weeks, the abduction of the school girls at Chibok, Borno State has underscored the threat we have been facing as a nation in recent times from the actions of misguided persons masquerading as adherents of Islam.
“That horrific video posted on the Internet is a clear manifestation of the mindlessness of the bigots. It shows them for whom they are, such men cannot threaten nor should they be allowed to violate our sovereignty. It is clear from what they profess that they are not followers of God.
“They do not mean well for our country and her citizens. I am a Muslim, I am versed in the teaching of Christianity and I understand both religions to seek peaceful co-existence of all humanity.”
While condoling with families whose girls were among those abducted, he described the abductors as a group of anarchists. He said, “There is no justification whatsoever for this unrestrained disregard for the sanctity of human life. It has no place in the Holy Quran and neither does it have a place in the Holy Bible.
“Let these people know that the entire civilised world is united against their terrorist act. We are grateful to the world for standing by Nigeria at this trying time. We hope and pray that the young ladies will be reunited with their respective families in the days to come”
He used the medium to call upon the Federal Government and the nation’s Armed Forces to ensure citizens’ safety under the present situation. He said, “We are glad that the Federal Government has accepted international support in the search for the missing girls and for an end to the insurgency in parts of the country.
“I fought for a united Nigeria. In my old age, I want my grandchildren, your grandchildren, our youths and indeed all Nigerians to benefit from a prosperous and united country devoid of sectarian violence whether home grown or imposed on us from outside.
“Now is not the time to play politics. Now is also not the time to trade blames and amplify our ideological differences. The unity of Nigeria is not negotiable and nothing should divide us as a people.”

Shekau Was Almost Killed In 2012
The Nigerian military has touted Shekau's death several times, only to
retract its claim after he appeared alive and vibrant in propaganda
videos.
They almost got him in September 2012 when they raided his home, where he had snuck in for his six-day-old baby's naming ceremony, according to the International Crisis Group. He managed to get away with a gunshot wound to the leg; his wife and three children were taken by the military.
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/05/07/world/africa/abubakar-shekau-profile/
With Shekau (whose nom de guerre is Imam Abu Mohammed Abubakar bin Muhammed Shekau) at the helm of its most significant faction (see below), Boko Haram has grown more ruthless, violent and destructive and less open to dialogue. Perhaps most audacious were its suicide bombings in Abuja of the police headquarters and the UN building in June and August 2011.

The security forces became more aggressive in turn in September 2012. On 22 September, troops slapped round-the-clock curfews on three cities in the North East, Damaturu, Potiskum and Mubi, killed 36 suspected militants, including a top sect commander and arrested more than 200 in house-to-house raids. Two days later they stormed a Boko Haram enclave in Damaturu, including Shekau’s home. They almost caught him – he had sneaked in the day before for the naming ceremony of his six-day old baby. Fighting was fierce: 35 militants were killed and two soldiers injured. Shekau escaped, with a thigh wound; his wife and three children were taken into military custody. Three SUVs, seven laptops and a large arms cache reportedly were recovered from the house.

Shekau was said to have been spirited to Gao, in northern Mali, when it was held by Islamist armed groups.

This is one reason Nigerian troops were deployed to Mali in January 2013 to support the French Operation Serval that expelled Ansar Dine and the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) from that country’s northern cities.

Shekau now reportedly travels frequently to Niger and Cameroon, facilitated by his Kanuri ethnicity and the long, porous borders. He re-
surfaced in 2013, however, in internet videos demanding the release of detained Boko Haram women and children (presumably including his own family).

A top commander, Abubakar Yola, alias Abu Jihad, was killed in a shoot-out with troops in Mubi, where 156 suspected members were rounded up. Other factions were neutralised following the capture or killing of their leaders.

On 17 September 2012, soldiers shot dead a sect spokesman, alias Abul Qaqa, outside Kano, along with the sect commander in charge of central Kogi and Kaduna states and Abuja.

This was a significant blow, a source close to the sect said, because the two were considered its “think-tank”.
They almost got him in September 2012 when they raided his home, where he had snuck in for his six-day-old baby's naming ceremony, according to the International Crisis Group. He managed to get away with a gunshot wound to the leg; his wife and three children were taken by the military.
